Welcome to the 18tilidie.co.uk film section. All 3 films produced so far have been filmed and edited by 18's own Karl Watson. He's a talented film editor of the highest order and we can only count ourselves lucky to have him on board, one day he'll be big so remember where you saw him first ;) The films convey to people why fans travel the world to go to shows... and when they do, how to do it in style. A whole new way to review a show instead of the obligatory read, these are all fun films that will have you in stitches from start to finish. DELETED SCENES AND OUTTAKES NOW ONLINE! WHY HAVE THESE FILMS BEEN OFFLINE? PLEASE READ: Back in October 2008 18.co.uk was contacted by an external party representing Adams Communications Inc. The whole Bryan Adams online community was undergoing a major shake up so that BA fansites could exist under agreed guidelines so they didn't infringe the rights of Adams Communications. Some websites were taken down completely whilst these guidelines were agreed upon, however 18.co.uk was very fortunate in that we were allowed to keep our website online whist we worked through this process. The only thing we were asked to (temporarily) take down were the films, which we immediately did. Following this we actually built up a good rapport with them and we amicably worked towards an agreement. Everything was on it's way to being sorted, the papers were about to be signed, when we suddenly stopped receiving any contact from them. It's now been 5 months since we last heard from them, and despite several attempts at contacting them and other people representing Adams Communications we have heard nothing back. An incredible amount of time, money and effort went into creating these films and it feels like such a waste not having them online to share with the other fans. Does some of the content infringe the rights of Adams Communications? Technically yes, but let's look at the 2 main reasons for these Intellectual Property rights: - to stop people making money from other people's Intellectual Property Now for the first point, we haven't made a single penny out of these films, nor have Adams Communications lost a single penny from these films. On the contrary, these films actually cost us money to make, and if anything, encourage people to go see Bryan Adams in concert. For the second point, these films were simply created for ourselves and other fans to enjoy. They weren't created to try and win "brownie" points with Bryan Adams. However if he did see them, we'd like to think he'd at least appreciate the amount of creative effort that went into them, and wouldn't disapprove of them being online for the fans to enjoy. So we've put these films back online, however instead of putting them on YouTube for the whole world to see, we're hosting them ourselves right here on 18.co.uk. This means the only people who can see them are people who visit this website, i.e. fans of Bryan Adams. If Adams Communications wish to open a dialogue with us again, all they have to do is e-mail us and we'll be happy to talk to them. For now, enjoy the films, keep smiling, and look out for a brand new (non-BA) documentary that Karl is currently trying to put money together for that'll blow your balls off!!!
