Bryan's second album was originally going to be titled 'Bryan Adams Hasn't Heard Of You Either' until the record company ditched it because they thought it was too stupid. This album is significantly better than the first, creating a more definied rock image for Bryan which he has retained throughout his career. It was also the first time Bryan worked with legendary producer Bob Clearmountain.

Unlike the first album which was just like a bunch of "glorified demos" as BA once put it, this album was recorded properly in a studio in NYC. The album features some old live classics such as 'Lonely Nights', 'Tonight' and 'Fits Ya Good' as well as gems such as 'No One Makes It Right' which was only played live for the first time at York's Grand Opera House on October 31st, 2008.
